Hi

A friend of mine is in the US at the moment and could bring me a Notebook. Where do you get the cheapest penryn MBP. At macmall.com there is an offer for 1299. Unfortunately with a glossy screan. Moreover i didnt quit figure out what this mail in rebate is.

Mail in rebates: Buy a product for a specific price; you mail in the UPC code (bar code) on said product along with the sales receipt and a completed form to an rebate center; maybe a few weeks to a month or two later you get a check, debit card, or whatever the rebate says they will return to you, in the mail. Rebates for US computers are only valid for US residents.

As with the computers, you could always looks at Amazon.com or the Apple clearance store.
