Hey,

I ordered some extra RAM for my new MPB but forgot to get a screwdriver. Does anyone know anywhere in Manhattan that might sell one?! Need it fairly quickly so ordering online isn't an option.

Thanks!

I found my set at Lowes, they had quite a few different ones.

Don't forget to get the Torx #6 I believe.

Bring it to the Apple store, they may do it for free.

Otherwise Lowes, Home Depot, Radioshack etc.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7C144 Safari/528.16)

Thanks for your ideas. I need it before the weekend is out (have a job where I want/need the extra ram added) so iFixit is out.

Will have a look at RadioShack - they seem to have a few around!

Thanks!

I found the Radio Shack sets to be kind of cheap quality wise.

Sears has the 0,00 and 000 Phillips in the Craftsman series. Good with
a guarantee. I'd suggest getting all 3 because screw sizes can vary
between models. You DON"T want to strip these small screws!

I wasn't expecting some reasonable results from this post about the Phillips product in NY but when I read about Lowes, Home Depot, Radioshack etc. I had to take it seriously.

Thanks

Husky makes good products and already comes with all sizes. No need to buy all sizes sererately.

Thanks ivnj!

Went to Home Depot on 3rd and picked one up - cheap and does the job.

Thanks!

I have this same exact set (and the torx set too!) and I must say after 2 years these things have paid for themselves 10-fold. They're great quality too! Good buy.
