I would like to buy a replacement space bar for my 06 MBP keyboard.

Anyone know where I can find one?

You might call around to any local apple authorized repair shops (like, not the apple store), sometimes and depending they'll have a stock of borked older-model keyboards just for taking replacement keys..

You might try an Apple Store. I've gotten many replacement keycaps for free at Apple Stores over the years.

Yep, same here. Keycaps, rubber feet, etc. Usually, they'll just give them to you.

Good info. to keep in mind in mind for future reference. :)
By the way, if Apple does not provide you a space bar free of charge, check out ebay, i have seen sellers sell individual keys for MBP on ebay. Here is one listing that i found: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130370226120
Or you can do a general search like this one ebaY: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=apple+macbook+pro+key
