There seems to be a few people who are running a 2 + 4, 6GB set up. I currently have 2GB (2x1GB) in my UB MBP, and want to buy a single 4GB stick for a total of 5GB. Where can I buy these magical 4GB sticks?

I'm in Canada.

Does Other World Computing (macsales.com) ship to Canada?

CanadaRam. I'm sure I have his home address around here somewhere...

Try dealram.com

Also, the difference between 2x2gb and a 4gb is huge, like between $42 and $163 (US) RU sure u want the extra 1gb?

I get my parts from canadacomputers, they just recently added the 4GB corsiar module to their inventory but it's not in stock yet. And the price is $529.99, and it would be only marginally better than the 2x2GB for $79, so I don't know if it makes sense.

newegg.ca is also good, but I haven't seen 4GB modules on there yet.

pulled the trigger on 2x2GB. 4GB was way too expensive to be worth it.
