Where to buy?

I live in a rural area but will be in a city for the next few days that has an apple store. What I do not understand is buying in store with tax VS. Buying from a place like amazon with no tax. With this size purchase tax adds a lot. Am I missing something here?

Not really, but in some states you still have to pay tax if you order from Amazon.
