Where to by an iPod Mini in Canada

Hi there folks

I'm currently on holiday in Canada [from England] - I'm in Calgary until Friday then onto Toronto. The timing of this holiday would have been perfect if Apple had been able to keep to the release date of the Mini, but as it happens the release date has slipped [as we all already know].

But, my question is, are there any Apple specialists in either Calgary or Toronto who already stock and sell the iPod Mini's?

I'd appreciate it greatly if somebody out there could let me know either way!

your best (only) bet is to swing by somewhere in the u.s. with an apple store and pray that it's in stock.

they don't sell iPod Minis outside of the u.s. yet.

I was told by a Genius at the Apple Store in Belleuve, WA, about 4 weeks ago that there were *no* mini's *anywhere* other than online auctions. I was also told it would be 6-8 weeks before we see any. Meh.

Well, I know that's not true. i just went to the Apple store on Monday and they were there. Tried them out and they're pretty neat, but I would still go with the iPod for me. Seems like you'd have to go pretty far inland (in the US) to pick one up, but it might be worth it.

anyways, just do like me, a month ago we went to visit my uncle in crystle lake illinoi, stopped at the apple store and ordered one... that was at easter, they still have yet to get it in... (those wandering, we are having it shipped to my uncle;s house, he is shipping it to us)
