Where to copy video files to in the Files folder?

I have a shortcut to the Files folder on my Mac so I can place files in it so I can view and mark them up on my iPad, iPhone and other Macs. I want to put some videos into a folder for viewing on my devices also. Does it make any difference whee I place them? Is there a better way of doing this?
