Where to find downloaded IPSW through itunes on windows pc?

I'm just wondering if i can find the IPSW file after upgrading to IOS 7 through itunes.

So that if i had to go back to ios 6 for issues on ios 7, i could think to update iphone again to ios.

Itunes update and install latest ios. So where the ipsw file is stored in windows?

I'm not sure you can downgrade to iOS 6, though. Apple usually doesn't allow iOS downgrades.

Yep. As soon as Apple stops signing (i.e. authorizing) iOS6, you're all done, no way to go back. In the past they've typically closed the window within a day or so of releasing the new iOS.
