where to find latex for mac osx?

hi people
does anyone know where to find latex for panther, also a ltex editor....
i saw a tex equation editor gui download on apple site..... is it same as latex we use on linux??

tex is tex. LaTex is an extension to tex. I would try fink if I were you.
