I did a Lion upgrade, and my boot camp/ Windows 7 partition stopped working. I reinstalled my OS back to Snow Leopard, and tried to reinstall Boot Camp with no success. The only thing I can think of is the Lion update updated my EFI boot ROM and now for some reason, there is only a black, blank screen when trying to install Windows 7 or XP.

I want to try downgrading my EFI to see if that fixes the problem. However, where can I find older bootroms? I'm currently using EFI 1.7 on a 5,3 MBP and would like to find the original bootrom the machine came with.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks.
