iPad Pro where to find '£' on the new keyboard

how do i get a UK pound sign, £, on the new smart keyboard?

I don't have it but wonder if there is any currency symbol maybe try holding it down like you would on a virtual keyboard? Worth a shot.

that doesnt work, but after going along with your thinking i tried 'option' button and '3'. that did it

It's something like cmd-3, option-3 or ctrl-3 iirc. Have a fiddle.

I think all the Option key alternate characters from the Mac (and iPads with external keyboards) apply...
