Where to get a new logic board?

Ok so my friend decided his macbook pro (new 2.4GHz C2D) looked thirsty and fed it some root beer......
Soo after taking it to an authorized repair center they are saying it is the main logic board (MLB as they say)... due to liquid infiltration or something... so he will find out tomorrow if they will cover it (I'm thinking unlikely) or charge him... I'm thinking around 1K, does anyone know where, aside from an apple reseller/repair center can one obtain a new 2.4GHz mbp logic board and approx how much?

Yeah it's probably still going to be around 1k.. remember that both the processor and graphics chip are soldered on to the logic board. That processor alone goes for about $350.

The posted parts were not for the 2.4 GHz - I don't think any resellers have parts for the 2.4 GHz yet. Another site to watch for them is welovemacs.com.
