I usually go to eBay and just grab Applecare from a low-price seller for all my Apple products. I don't see any auctions or Applecare for the rMB, however.

I don't want to pay $249 for it from the Apple site.

Any suggestions?

B&h always has a low price on applecare, and they are totally legit.

Great advice! $189 at B&H every day. No tax and no shipping.

Are you guys purchasing it? I've had it on all of my laptops, including both my wife and son's MBA 13" and my own MBP. I used it on my MBP a LOT! Never used it on the Airs. With the new SSD I don't see a lot to go wrong.

That being said, this is bleeding edge stuff. Who knows how the ForceTouch pad will hold up, or the 12" retina screen, or the new battery design. For $189 it might be cheap insurance.

I'm probably going to go for it.

I appreciate your replies!
