iPod where to get deal on bose quietcomfort 2

Hi, after trying out a pair of quietcomfort 2 headphones at our bose outlet, i have been thinking about buying a pair. even though my local store is a factory outlet they only sell new models for 299. bose warned not to buy from other websites because they might not be real bose products. i dunno about that. what do you all think? and does anyone know of any good deals on these? i am one of those people that hates (and will not) pay retail, i'll look around until i find a deal, even if it's not much, or i feel like i am wasting money and also makes me feel guilty, so any tips? thanks!

I think this is one of those times to suck it up and buy them from Bose direct. I have a Bose Waveradio and absolutely love it. It's worth the price.

check Craigslist. I just got a sealed pair of QC2 headphones for $220.
