Hello!

After consulting this forum, I've come to the conclusion that my iPod touch 3G of now 2.5 years age has a dying battery. It gets about 11-12 hours playback time, which is acceptable for the time being. However, I'm going to do some shopping on where I can get a new battery installed.

Has anyone replaced their battery? Found a good online service that is cheaper than Apple? (The official Apple replacement is $129 USD or something crazy like that).

I have done some research online and saw a couple mail-away services that would do it for between $50 and $70.

I'm based in NYC and saw some good reviews on BNYTech.com, as well.
