Any suggestions on where I'll get the best price selling my 21" iMac (purchased Nov 2014)

I have had some issues in the past with eBay buyers ao i'd rather avoid that route and also I'm dubious about Gumtree (convinced someone is going to give me counterfeit cash or something :)

I was considering macworld.co.uk, any thoughts on them or recommendations on other places that buy used Macs??

When I sold my mid-2011 iMac 21.5" a couple of years ago I went through macworld.co.uk and they offered me a fair price for the computer.

You could also consider Hoxton Macs? Whilst their website doesn't mention about selling your iMac on it could be worth contacting them and seeing if they buy them?

They certainly refurbish/sell them on.

craigslist or (and admittedly this is a pretty small audience) if you are near a military base you might list it on bookoo

As for the counterfeit cash, have them meet you at a police station of a bank and have the money tested.

Your best bet for maximum cash is to sell it privately. How you advertise it is down to you but many people have good luck on Facebook.

I'm going to sell my iMac in the future, probably going to do it this way. So much easier to sell it to someone nearby due to the fact sending an iMac costs like £50 on delivery. Also the fact that if you sell on eBay there is a 10% final value fee + payment fees. The only problem is finding someone nearby who wants to buy it - so definitely going to look for local buy/sell groups on Facebook!
