marketplace is only viewable to members who have over 250 posts and 6 months membership on the site.

if you read the fine print, the 250 posts have to occur in certain forums. i think it takes a little while until you can see the marketplace after you reach 250. at least it did for me...didnt work one minute, and then worked the next...
