Where to store my books (pdf files)?

I know I could choose anywhere I like but i want to keep my new mac neat and organized.
I have a ton of books (pdf files) where is a good place to put them?

Coming from windows I would guess New folder in documents named 'books' then put my pdfs there, but any another suggestions?

Create a "eBook" folder in Documents....

That's pretty much what I do. Organize them by author or subject in subfolders.

You can use them on an iPod touch or iPhone as well, but overall the folder structure of macs is not that different.
