where to write php files with MAMP

I don't know where to put .php file to browse it from Safari 3.1.1 browser

i want to write php file Hello.php and then see it from browser


and advise ?

Erm. Learn PHP, then use either textedit or a program such as Dreamweaver to code it.

Just realized you wanted to know where to put it.

Put it in the htdocs folder in the MAMP folder.

but my question is : in any directory i suppose to put my php file
