"With the iPhone 4S, we truly revolutionized the way people think about the iPhone. Although it's identical externally to the iPhone 4, users will once again rekindle their love for the sleek aluminum band and glass. In designing the iPhone 4S, I wanted everything to be practically the same, so much so that that's exactly what I did. We took out all the stops on this upgrade and hope it shows in the physical form factor.

Magical. "

He didn't have to design anything, so I guess they could have played his iPhone 4 video from last year, but that would be a bit unnecessary.

Ive already did his job and gave his pretentious speech last year. I doubt he was involved much in the 4S as there was nothing really to 'design'.

Obviously he has been on a 16 month vacation.

He was sitting in a dark room on the Apple campus designing the iPhone 5 we should've gotten today!

(nah, but Jonny Ive is cool. I'm sure he wasn't there because there wasn't a redesign to announce, so no need for him to say anything).

I always thought he was an actor.
