Oh CRAP, sorry! He's still locked in my cupboard! Been there for 3 weeks...yeah I'm sure he's fine.

He didn't have to design anything, so I guess they could have played his iPhone 4 video from last year, but that would be a bit unnecessary.
He wouldn't really be needed at the event, all they did was put different stuff in the body from last year. It wouldn't make sense for him to unveil the same thing he unveiled last time.

He was sitting in a dark room on the Apple campus designing the iPhone 5 we should've gotten today!
