I have a 1.5 Ghz Intel Core Solo, 512 MB Mac Mini with a 200gb external HD. Is there any way I could take it to the Apple Store and they could add ram+anything else to make it go a little bit faster?

Thanks,
Jack

They could add RAM but as far as anything else goes I'm not sure.

As far as stuff that can be done to a mini:

- Upgrading to a Core 2 Duo processor
- a faster, larger HDD

Um, actually that's about it.

I think the only thing they'll do is up the RAM at an expensive price. Why not try spice it up yourself with simple online videos that you can find if you browse www.macsales.com? You could pick up some ram and add a core 2 duo processor if you're up to the challenge. If not I think it would be cheaper for you to sell your mac mini and use the funds to buy a new or refurbished one with more ram and a better processor.
