I can't find my Dashboard Manager Widget... I can't drag it from the bottom of the screen, can't click it to add another one. It doesn't appear to be running in activity monitor and it isn't hiding under another widget, yet it seems like there's something preventing it from opening.

eh?

For some strange reason, Apple made Dashboard part of the Dock process. If the Dock is acting strangely, restarting it can often fix things. The easiest way to do this is to go into Applications -> Utilities and open up Activity Monitor. Once you've quit the Dock, it should automatically restart.

Just tried it- it reloaded all my widgets, but I still can't get the manager to open. It recognizes that I'm clicking it, but no widget appears. huh.
