Doesnt appear to be in the UK yet (not for me anyway).

I bought an imac during the correct time frame to get a free upgrade and it keeps saying my serial number is not recognised.

I call apple support and was told that it was an issue they were aware of and to keep trying.

Did you copy and paste the code from the About Mac Screen?

It works and is instant. I am already running Lion from the free code they gave me.

My serial number was finally verified. I'm at work (my home iMac is the one eligible for free upgrade). If I go ahead and complete the free upgrade order from my work PC, will I receive a code that will allow me to download Lion later when I get home, or do I need to complete the order process from my eligible Mac?
