Where's my harddrive?

I can't find my harddrive. I can access everything but the harddrive and I'm logged in as an administrator.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try this.

Try pressing Shift, Command, and C.
You should see Network and your HD.

If you do not. i have more steps for you to try.

I have a G4 Powerbook, 1.5ghz

Are you saying it will boot but you can't see your hard drive?

Yep, I can do everything but access the hard drive. I can access all my files, photos, music etc. I'm typing on it now.

Keyboard shortcuts

The keyboard shortcuts may be different then.

Try opening Disk Utility and see if your Hard Drive is listed.

Or open your finder and see if your HD is listed under Devices.

Hey,

Is it an internal hard drive or an external one? Have you tried restarting? If not, you may have an invalid partition table or something of the like, so if disk util doesn't work and neither does restarting, just post and i will try to help.
