Where's the best place to buy a MacBook battery?

Mine is starting to bulge a bit. I was planning on waiting until it just died out but this is a bit scary. It doesn't feel hot or anything, but I don't want it to explode.

Anyway, I'm sure the most expensive place to buy a battery from is directly from Apple, but are there any other places I should look? I am worried about buying a fake or 3rd party one.

I was going to check the prices on Apple, but the store is down. Hopefully something exciting's coming soon!

Just buy it from Amazon or the Apple Store. It might be worth taking it in to an Apple Store and seeing if they'll give you a replacement for free, or at the least giving it to them so they can dispose of it properly. Bulging batteries aren't something you want to have lying in the trash.
