i recently bought an ipod touch, but was dissapointed to find it did not come with a cloth case to put it in. instead it came with a single sheet of cloth to clean the screen with.

my previous ipod- 5th ipod (video) came with a nice little material case.

was this just my ipod or has no-one got one for thier touch.

anyone else want a touch material sleeve or know where to get one?

Nah, the touch doesn't come with anything.

I can't remember any of my iPods coming with anything like that TBH, but get an iPod Sock if you want something like that. I got a single one off ebay and it fits fine.

Apple should include one, but if they don't, I wish somebody would make a cloth slipcase for the touch. I ended up recycling the cloth draw-string accessory bag that came with my 3G iPod. The touch and the earphones fit in nicely.

No, the touch doesn't come with one even though my G video did. I wonder if the new classics do? You can get a sock as someone suggested, they're pretty cheap, or if you want something a little more protective/cute, check out foofshop.com or fabrixcases.com

Everyone agrees that was pretty cheezy of Apple not to include a cloth bag, yet they include a dock adapter that most people won't use. The touch should have also included a power adapter but didn't.

Even the Zune comes with a cloth bag! But no power adapter.

I didn't get a dock with my touch. I got an adaptor for a dock, a cable, a cloth, and a tiny lucite stand.

You are correct, I stand corrected. What is included with the Touch is a dock adapter. I updated my post.

The 5th generation iPods and first generation iPod Nano came with the cases becauses owners complained of the amount of scratching.

That's why.
