Do u already have iPhoto 5??? Cos it is only coming out on the 22nd?

If you are talking about in an apple store it looked like it was in the bottom left hand corner.....

Peace

no, i have the actual app...

SJ bought up this palette with loads of options? mine only has 2?

Nah, he probably has iPhoto 5.

On another note, since iPhoto 5 is technically "not out" yet, the subject of where this topic is headed is not one regarded in the initial question, and because most people don't have iPhoto 5, this topic should probably stay closed until the 22nd.

Sky Blue...I think you have iPhoto version 4 not 5, hence the limits...

Okay then i am guessing you have an illigal version.....

Or you are very luckey to be one of the first few to receive iLife 05 before 22nd/29th depending on where you live.

Ok, from what I understand you need to Edit a single photo and get the the "Adjust" window.

Thats what I have read from a sample chapter of a new book coming out soon.

Does that work?

When SJ did it during the keynote, he clicked on the button that is just to the right of the B&W and Sepia buttons while in a specific album. There is a button labeled Adjust at the bottom middle-right of the panel also in slideshow view on the website. I'm assuming this is the same button. Have you seen that button?

Most people here are just guessing for you since we don't have out hands on the software yet, but maybe there is some sort of preference setting that allows more editing options?

Yes, it's there. The "Adjust" button is hidden unless you click the ">>" because of iPhoto's window size. (I am guessing ;) )

I kind of find it odd that a newbie would register to ask this question. I think he did it on purpose to cause a stir cause we obviously know it's not out yet.

Maybe someone seeded an iPhoto ('04 or earlier) and named it iPhoto '05 via a P2P network....
If you installed it, you're passwd has now been distributed all over the 'net.

"Several" ??

MTKA I suppose....

I saw it briefly there before the mods took it offline. Seen it on other sites, but they shall go nameless.

Sorry if I sound like a complete arse, but if you want support on your pirated software, go to the places 'all over the net' where you found it and ask there.

You do sound like a complete arse, but I agree with you 100%! Why should we be wasting our time helping people with illegal software?

i found the answer in the help file. The other sliders aren't avialable on G3, neither are the transitions (screen goes all crappy from pic to pic)
