I don't think they showed a beta over a year ago, that was just rumor. Plus the SDK has only been out for a year (year + 1 week?). The only confirmed demo I know of was the one at CES.
And if you follow any of their other products, you'd know they pretty much never hit the dates the estimate, lol. They're always late. By the end of the month you can probably expect an announcement of some sort though. Either a delay or that it's been submitted to Apple.
