Hi ,

I was wondering which of the 11 inch top of the line model will give Starcraft 2 then highest fps for a given setting? The 2010 11" ultimate or the 2011 11" ultimate?

I am not familiar with Starcraft 2, but I read that the 2010 model is superior for older games, while the 2011 model gives higher FPS for newer games optimized for Intel graphics; one such game is Portal 2.

Also I've heard that Starcraft 2 is more CPU intensive? I sometimes play it but not much, I mainly use the computer to surf the web, email, and watch movies, and YouTube, I don't do any video editing, but when I get the itch then I would like to run Starcraft 2.

I did some a few quick google search for you and it seems as though the consensus is that the 2011 models run smoother than the 2010, but they run hotter, so be careful playing for extended time periods.
