I am not looking for buying advice but am interested in which 13 inch buyers would pick.

Uh... what would we be doing with said new 13" MacBook... I have an Aluminum 13" MBP and love it, but it replaced a white 13" 1st Gen MacBook, which I also loved.

I just put the 13inch pro, mainly cause I would never buy a whitebook(the $100 for the metal case is a no brainer to me) and could never bring myself to buy a 13" air when I could get an 11". the only thing I would change in the 13" mbp is an option for a high res screen just like the mba, then it would be perfect.

13 MBP b/c it seems to have the best combination of power and portability while maintaining the best (in terms of Apple) price point.

Depends on your use! I would choose a MBP: the most powerful of the 3, still very portable, and is just iconic Apple

doesnt the fact the the 13 mbp is low res bother you? the 11 mba has better res than the 13 pro.

The pro offers the best bang for the buck. When you consider the ram difference, backlit keys and firewire plus the resell value the price difference is minimal.

If you have a Micro Center nearby then you can pick up the MBP for only $999 - that is where I bought mine.

Why? Aluminum warps and dents...
