guys !
One more question..
Which MBP are user upgradable ? ( HDD/Ram )

i am planning to buy 13" CMBP, just so that i can upgrade RAM and SSD. But just wondering, are any of rMBP easy to upgradable ??

In the cMBP the hard drive and RAM are both considered user-upgradeable.

In the rMBP it is impossible to upgrade the RAM, the chips are soldered directly to the logic board.

It is possible to swap out the solid state storage in the rMBP but so far there is only once company that makes a compatible replacement (OWC) and it isn't considered user-replaceable by Apple.

Thank you.
And what is the maximum RAM i can put on any of New 13" cMbp ?

I have 16gigs in mine now

32 not sure but isnt even a cost effective option even if were the case

Can't really be cost effective is the SO-DIMMs don't even exist yet, can it?

16GB for now, the chipset can handle more but more doesn't exist in SO-DIMM form factor.

Yup, hence why I stated if it even were an option

I've read that 16 is the limit on the current chipset though. However, without the dimms, hard to verify

cMBP can upgrade RAM and SSD/HDD as stated above.
It can also do optibay mod for extra storage if you dont use the superdrive.

The rMBP lines are one of the worst to upgrade.
The ONLY thing you can upgrade is the SSD which is sold by OWC at extremely high price.
RAM is soldered so dont even think about it.
