Which 13" Pro from a Dell Laptop

Hi there! I know this is the millionth new thread on the topic, but I have a few questions about the 13-inch line.

I'll be upgrading from a Dell Inspiron 13" and have been dual-booting Ubuntu, which I'd like to keep doing. I don't need high end gaming graphics (that's what my consoles are for) but would like to do some music recording as a hobby. Other than that, I'd be playing Minecraft, surfing, and watching Netflix.

As far as processor speeds go, which one would suit my needs best? I'm going to upgrade the RAM myself no matter which one I get. Any recommendations?

Any of it would work.

Just shop according to your budget.

Get i7 if you intend on doing more intensive tasks such as video encoding.

Any of the 13" ones would suffice. I'd go with the base Pro, because it can handle 8GB of RAM vs. the std. MB is only 4GB.

All of them will dual boot UBUNTU; Bootcamp is a standard part of OSX SL.

I'd recommend the Refurb store. They have some of the latest, reduced price, and just as good as new. In fact, they are new. No blems, etc.

If you go new, and can swing it, I'd look at SSD. You can also install ur own.
