Which 2011 17in GPU is the issue?

Is the 6770 the one that dies or is it the 6750? Or are both equally prone to dying?

Both. The early 2011 had the 6750 while the late had the 6770. I had a late 2011 15” with a 6750 that died. Finally did the disable fix and gave it to a great-nephew since I couldn’t use it with an external monitor.
