Which 27" iMac

Hi,

I'm gonna be getting a new iMac. I've decided to get the 27" version cos I'd fine the extra space useful. But not sure which version. I'll be using it basic things like the web, email but also programs like AutoCAD, MATLAB and some video editing from time to time. Which should I get do you think? The 2.9GHz or 3.2GHz? Any help would be great.

Depends upon how long you plan to keep the iMac - long term high end - short time low end.

Hello.

I would highly recommend the 3.2Ghz version beacous it comes with a lot better NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory.

But for cpu there is really small diference.
i5 3.2 ghz benchmarks.

i5 2.9 ghz benchmarks.

If you have the money then i suggest you to invest it in your mac.
