Well I'm about to jump the Intel bandwagon and get an imac, the 20" model. I need a second display (well a 3rd cos I have a 40" LCD TV but thats a different story). I would like to know which monitor (20" or 24" max. no Apple monitors) is king at the moment? Also why do you recommend it? Thanks

My vote goes for the Dell monitors. Take your pick between a 20" or 24".

There may be new ones out soon though to match the specs of their new 30" LCD.

I've got a Dell 2005FPW hooked up along side my 20" iMac G5. That's what I'd get. As tempting as the 24" might be, IMO it's nice to have screen sizes that match when sat right next to each other.

3360x1050px, can't be bad ;) :D

As well as it just being a great screen, with lots of inputs. This is a key factor for me - "Warranty : 3 year next business day exchange"

edit: 20% off at the moment too!!

I LOVE my Dell 2005FPW, so many imputs, and it uses the same samsung LCD TFT as the 20" apple display for soooo much less. Get it and you won't be dissappointed!

The 20" ACD uses a Phillips LCD - at least mine did.
