This just popped into my head.... I thought it would be neat to find out what 3.0-only features the rest of the iPhone community is actually using. I use copy/paste a lot and the ability to log in to youtube and view subscriptions. What do you use the most?

I use copy and paste a lot more than I thought I would. And I'm really enjoying the landscape version of Mail, it makes viewing emails so much easier.

the feature i use the most is push notifications, and i don't get them that often. i use search every now and then just to find a song and i also select text to empty text fields that have text in them that i want to change so now i don't have to hold down backspace for ten minutes just to delete a paragraph. that's about the only 3.0 features i use. although i'm on a 1G iPod touch so there isn't much more anyways.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8900: BlackBerry8900/4.6.1.250 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/301)

Push (namely with AIM for the relay service I use) and landscape.

I use voice command a lot in the car
Nike + is fantastic, and I use it alot too
And I use the video also-- but I can't wait for the MMS so I can send them.

1. tethering. everyday.
2. copy & paste
3. a2dp audio in my car w/ my sony xplode deck

Definitely Tethering, MMS, Copy & Paste, and Double Tap in Maps for directional location.....:cool::cool:

Too bad that the compass is basically rendered useless in a car.... what exactly was apple thinking? Did the engineers need a compass so the map would be oriented correctly while they're finding the way to the room full of tablet prototypes. lol

Video recorder (3GS) if that counts.

Followed by copy & paste and multiple images in emails.

When I used to have 3.0, I used the ability to select the most. I didn't necessarily use the copy and paste a lot, but I liked being able to double tap a word and re-type it. Selecting text is much more convenient than holding down the delete button or using the magnifying glass.

Viewing email in landscape is awesome. I very rarely use cut, copy and paste. The least I use is Voice Memo's and Spotlight.

I've used voice recorder on the odd occasion.

C&P on the odd occasion.

I don't use landscape or spotlight. And I mean ever.

I've MMS'd and tethered a couple times.

I dunno ... for me, 3.0 didn't really blow my mind. But I like it just the same.

Landscape texting and then fine scrubbing while fast forwarding music.

oh and DERR...video

the speed.

oh wait ............ that's a 3GS/hardware feature.

I admit there really isn't much other than the search feature (WHICH WON'T SEARCH THE NOTE IN A CONTACT!) that I use ..... maybe some CCP.

Nothing else comes to mind that's been world changing.

Today I realized that I pretty much only use Copy and Paste in OS 3... and that's only every once in a while. Why do I even have OS 3 on my iPhone?

What do you mean?

On my phone I just looked at a sample e-mail and this is what I got:

E-mails visible in the in-box:
VERTICAL - 5
LANDSCAPE - 3

Words visible in a single e-mail
VERTICAL - 70
LANDSCAPE - 17

By my count, vertical mode lets me see a TON more than landscape mode. What is it that you enjoy about that? I mean, 17 vs. 70 isn't even close.

I'm with you but others are likely more comfortable with the larger type.
