I know there are other posts like this, but I had my own list for a poll and wanted to see what people really think is gonna come out... And yes, I didn't put iPhone Nano on there, because I am 99.9% sure its not coming out. Sorry Nano fanatics! There is no way to limit voting, so please only vote for 3.

Thanks.

I say -
- Mac Pro -- cause of those awesome chips
- Mac Tablet -- cause someone said the MacBook isn't "touchy" enough
- iPhone Nano -- cause at&t's plan (which affects everyone around the world, naturally) is too expensive

 Way to bias the poll from the outset. Well done!

I think Mac Mini, Unibody 17" Pro, and 32GB iPhones are inevitable. :)

I'm not really biasing it because I'm not allowing for ridiculousness in the poll.... I know, I know, this is even more biased then before, but I refuse to put "iPhone Nano" on my poll..... Thankfully in a week, most of you will all stop talking about that crazy stuff.

You put a Mac Pro update in the poll. You seem to be okay with ridiculousness.

I wish!

It's gonna turn into "Just wait for summer! I'll show you cello ... once and for all!!"

what you think is ridiculous others think is the best thing since sliced bread, hence making your poll biased.

OK, you've got me there, but I figured it is kind of due for an update, according to the MR buying guide. I see I've struck a cord Tallest. My bad. On the other hand, just think another week and we want have to hear about iPhone Nanos for at least a couple days... haha

Mac Mini
iMac
17" MBP

close in fourth: iPhone 32GB--just because its about time for me to upgrade to 3G.

I'm as sure that there won't be an iPhone Nano as I was that there would not be a MacBook Air released.

Go Schiller!!!

Um... the point of a poll is to find out what other people think. When you start picking and choosing what options you put on your poll, then the results are automatically biased. This is especially true when you elect not to include a response you know many people would select.

It would be like me creating a poll asking "what are your thoughts on abortion", and having the options be:
1) For it.
2) For it.
3) For it.

I don't see you complaining about the lack of an xMac option. Maybe you know it won't happen? ;)

But the difference is that the MacBook Air was talked about on The Street by Jim Goldman and others. People knew a couple weeks ahead of time that it was feasible. The fact that not one of the financial networks (CNBC, Bloomberg, etc.) have talked about said device should show all these people that this device won't happen.

yeah ... cause safe and clean abortions is the same thing as a cheap iPhone for your dad

OTOH, I haven't seen anyone discussing the xMac coming up to this MacWorld. All the other options have at least been discussed, some of them incessantly, in recent weeks.

You're right, though, in that an unbiased poll should include an xMac. :)

I put in for Mac mini and Mac Pro updates. But who knows, maybe more than just those two. We may see a large Macworld SF.

Except I put everything, but the thing that has no validity on The Street or in the blog world. These forms seem to be the only place where people have actually embraced this crazy concept idea.

I think the Mac updates will be more minor things and the keynote will be more about iPod touches and iPhones, not new hardware, just new firmware and new video out feature.

Maybe while you're out looking for a book on introductory business, you can pick up a nice guide to the English language:

Example: a thing characteristic of its kind or illustrating a general rule.

Thanks for playing.
