Hello,
I installed Vista 64Bits Ultimate on my MBP (2.53Ghz, 512vram, 4GB ram).

I would like to ask you which is the correct version of 3D Mark to install to have the standard bench result as mentioned in some reviews.

I installed the 3D Mark 06 Basic Edition. When I run it the first time, it told me that I don't have the correct version for my system. I continued and run the test with all default settings.

What surprises me is that I get a 5751 score. Isn't it too high ?

Thanks,
Tex

3DMark06 is a good standard since it works on XP and Vista. Anyone can run the default resolution/settings so the results match up with other systems.

But I saw some scores of this MBP here on the forum and they were around 1000pts less ?!

I'd take a look at the other submitted configurations on 3DMark.

I remember that my overclocked Mobility ATI X1600 128 MB got around ~3,100 points in 3DMark06.
