I have an older 17" G5 iMac (specs below) that I want network access to. I bought this computer 4 years ago without a card and was wondering which model of AirPort card am I suppose to install. Does it even have a slot for a card?

I've been researching the USB adapters but hear very limited success with those. Most say they cut out and become tedious. I would like something more reliable. I hear the way to go is a AirPort card.

Can someone help please? :)

Help!

OK. So I bought an AirPort card from Ebay for a good price. Opened the computer and installed the hardware.

Now what do I do? I go into AirPort Setup Assistant and it says "No card found". What am I missing here?

Never mind. Fixed it. Reads the AirPort card. The card wasn't pushed in all the way.
