Hi, due to lack of space, I am looking to replace my existing amplifier and CD player with a a smaller intergrated system, with the ability to plug an iPhone and play CDs.

I have my eyes set on the Marantz M-CR603, but I am not sure it can power my speakers (Chario Constellation Lynx). I don't know anything about audio equipment and thus would seek your advice. Thanks in advance!

Here are the speakers specs:
Low Frequency Load
Vented NRS
Configuration
2 Way
Drivers
1 tweeter 38 mm soft dome
Drivers
1 woofer 130 mm paper compound
Sensitivity
87 dB SPL 1 m 2,83 V
Frequency @-3dB
67 - 20,000 Hz
Xover Frequency
1,500 Hz
Rated Impedance
4 ohm
Suggested Amplifier
50 - 100 Watt

The Chario's are 4 ohm, low sensitivity (87 dB) speakers and are going to require lots of power to be happy.

If you want the music to be loud, the Marantz is probably underpowered, and may run hot.

If you are going to keep the volume low to moderate, it should be OK, although I think the Marantz is a bit overpriced for what you get.

You might be happier with an Onkyo T-8050, although it is a little larger.
You could match that up with some Energy Take Classic speakers for about the same price as the Marantz alone.
