Hi so I currently have the Apple Watch Series 3, I’m wanting one that tracks abit more of my health, I know some watches have detected abnormalities and blood clots and this is something I’m interested in, is the se 2022 a worthy upgrade or should I be looking at the Apple Watch Series 6? Maybe 7? The 8 is out of my price range tbh. Thanks

Was about to say Apple Watch Ultra due to its amazing battery life. Oh well.
Latest Apple Watch SE doesn’t support ECG or blood oxygen measure. Only Apple Watch series 6 and 7 supports them.
I’d suggest Apple Watch series 6 or 7 if you want your watch to watch out for your health a little bit more.

The SE has neither ECG nor SPO2, from you description it sounds like you might want those. Check Amazon for prices on the S7, and what is your price range?

Yes that watch does looks amazing but I have small wrists and also the price puts me off abit would be a saving up job.

Thank you will check Amazon out 😊 just thought the se 2022 was a good price and would be an upgrade from the 3.

The SE doesn't have the added health features that you're interested in. No apple watches detect blood clots and never have so not sure where you picked up that information.. EKG and SPO2 are the most recent which are S6/S7/S8 features

Unless you have a specific need for ECG or SPO2, they are a bit overrated and of limited use, IMO. If you do have such a need, say for SPO2, then a fingertip oximeter is a more effective device.
Not saying they are useless, but I suggest don't have too high expectations if spending more money to get them.

Thank you, in your opinion do you think the se 2022 is an upgrade from the series 3? Thanks

Most definitely. My first experience with a smart watch was in 2020. My wireless carrier was offering the 3 for a very good price, so I took the dive. I loved the watch so much that I upgraded to the SE 1 when it was released. I didn't need AOD of the S5 nor the added health features, so SE 1 was perfect for me. SE 2 is obviously better than the first gen, so yes, the 2022 SE will be a very nice upgrade from the S3.

You might also check Mercari for some gently used watches; I got a great deal on a S7 natural titanium & love it. But if nothing else, the SE 2 will serve you well.
