My 256gb Silver 12 was delivered this morning and was probably gonna do AC+. Which plan do you all have? With the theft or loss or without?

I do the one with theft and loss. The cost difference isn't significant, and I personally like having the peace of mind.

I went with Theft and lost on my 11PM In Dec and I lost my phone in February, its on the bottom of Tampa bay. Two days later and $249 I had a new iphone in my hands. It was a chunk of change but heck cheaper than buying a new 11pm off the shelf.

I’m embarrassed to say 8 months ago I was at my local/large grocery store and had my iPad Pro in a carry bag. I need to use the bathroom. While in there someone kept trying the door!!! Jeebus, the exterior of the door did have an automatic “Occupied” sign.It left me so flustered I left the bag/iPad in the restroom!

I was in the parking lot loading groceries when I remembered I forgot to take the ipad with me. I ran back into the store and the bag was no longer in the restroom.

On my phone I launched ”Find My”. Luckily some honest soul had found it and turned it in to customer service. The moral of the story for me is to pay up for lost/stolen coverage.

Glad you were able to get a replacement, based on the 'insurance'.
But, honestly, another $249. Ugh...

Oh yeah UGHHHHH I was so mad at myself letting it happen- zipper left open and not paying attention - thankfully my car keys were still in my backpack. Now I have a lifeline attached to my phone case and that sucker is clipped to a rope that is attached to the boat.

Mine is without the theft. If someone stole my device, clearly they need it more than me. And, I can have Apple lock it, so it can never be used...
My son lost his phone out of town. We had 2 different people calling because bought and wanted us to unlock. Didn’t even turn on when bought and would see message ? Lol. The second caller was actually not too far from us and somehow the phone traveled 700 miles. Offered to buy for $100. They said no, paid way more than that. Okay, enjoy your paper weight!
