Hello. I have protective films on but it does not fully cover the MBP 17". The edges and some areas are not fully covered. I am considering to refund the films and get a hard case instead. Alternatively, just put a hard case with the films on. I have read many posts about the hard cases (Speck SeeThru, Satin, Incase Hard Shell) causing scratches on the MBPs. Sometimes due to the cases themselves but sometimes due to dirt/stuffs getting into the gaps. Could you please be more specific on which areas of your MBP got scratched? Thanks.

Mine has no scratches on it whatsoever from use. I use an Incase Re-Versible sleeve for when it's not in use/charging.
