I could really do with some advice please.
Our church have just bought a new mixing desk, an Allen & Heath ZED436, and I would like to try recording the live music each week.
The mixing desk has direct outs on every mono channel so I am looking for an audio interface to use with the mixing desk to record each channel individually. I'd also like to include 2 overhead mics as stereo.
Band wise, we use approx 16 channels for the band (including 7 drum mics) so what's my best option? I was thinking if channels were an issue, we could record the drum 'group' instead of each individual channel but would prefer to record all 16 channels if possible.
Can anyone recommend anything that's not too expensive?
