An octopus's garden
Which batteries do you all recommend for the (3 battery) wireless keyboard? I've been using rechargeable batteries (2500mAh Nihm), but they need to be recharged about once every five days. They are somewhat old, so their short life could be due to their age, but I was wondering if I should even be using rechargeable batteries for the keyboard. It looks like eneloop batteries are fairly popular these days. Will I get much more life out of them?

Frankly, I don't want to be using disposable batteries, so part of this question is also about helping me decide if I should get rid of the wireless keyboard and get a plain wired one.

Thanks!

Edit: I found a better search term and found this questions has been asked a fair few times:

I bought radio shack nickel-metal hydride 1.2v 2100mah batteries years ago for my wireless mouse and keyboard. I charge the mouse once maybe twice a month. The keyboard batteries last months. Literally months. I think either you use your keyboard a heck of a lot more then me or your batteries are old. Radio shack might be able to test them and tell you if you need new ones.

Thanks! Useful advice. I didn't know radio shack did things like checked your batteries. Honestly, I almost never go into a bricks and mortar store anymore.
