I'm interested in MX Anywhere/Master 3, but obviously there are an array of documented problems, and the unifying receiver is USB-A.

There are others having issues with other bluetooth mice, receiver dongle or not.
So which ones actually work? Who has used one without problems?

I have a Logitech M570 that uses an external USB transceiver. That's the only wireless that works flawlessly for me. I have a gen 1 Magic Trackpad and gen 1 Magic Mouse that all have connectivity problems that start whenever the fans start spinning on my MBPs. It was an issue on my 2016 and now on my 2018.

I appears like having the external transceiver gets around whatever is causing BT interference for me.

I didn't have any BT mouse issues on my 2012 or 2010 MBPs.

avioid microsoft if you use bootcamp. which is pretty ironic i guess..

basically i bought a new microsoft keyboard and mouse, i admit i bought it cos it was space grey, twice the price of the HP black one that i now wish id bought.

so bizarelly, every time i restart into windows, i have to re-pair the mouse and keyboard. and then when i restart back into mac i have to do it again. thankfully my apple mouse still works so i can use that to click on add bluetooth device.

i use the MX Anywhere 3 mouse without any problems. Both on my Mac Mini 2018 and rMB 12” 2017. Even have a little carrying case for it to bring with when traveling. It works with up to 3 devices.

i use it in Bluetooth mode, not with the little Logitech receiver. Battery lasts a few months I think.

I use an MX Master 2S in my home office and a MX Anywhere 2S in my corporate office with an MacBook Air M1

Both works very well just using standard build in bluetooth. Connects as soon as I open up the MacBook.

I would however, not recommend the MX Anywhere 2S for everyday use due to its small physical size.

Where did you find your carrying case if you don't mind me asking? The last Logitech wireless mouse I bought (many moons ago) included a case. Thanks in advance.

I bought this case (black with inner white version). Fits like a glove!
