Which brand of disk that work on macs ??

i have late 2008 MBP.

i have maxell DVD+R disk that doesn't work on my MBP.

when i try to burn an iso file it says 'try difference brand of disk or burn with lower burn speed'

the second option didn't work.

Disk or Disks? If it's the same disk giving you problems, it might have already been burned. You get re-burn DVD-/+R, you get with a DVD-/+RW.

If it a bunch of disks and every one is giving you that error, then that bran of disk will not work with the drive in your computer. You may have to try another brand. Which one you ask? Got me, it just trial and error on that part. I use TDK and HP and not having had any problems with them.
