I am able to achieve 1440p 120hz and 4k 30hz using the active iVanky mini dp to HDMI 2.0 cable. However, when I try and switch to 4k 60hz I get a green screen. The display shows it is receiving a 4k 60hz 8bit 4:4:4 signal, but no image.
I don't want to spend too much on this issue as I plan to replace my 2015 hardware soon, but I'd like to get a 4k 60hz output if possible. Is there another brand that works better with older Thunderbolt 2 / mini DP hardware? I have even seen HDMI 2.0b adapters advertised, but not sure if it would do any better/worse.
