Hi, I have a late 2012 iMac with ports as shown in the pic. I want to use it as an external display if possible via my new 13' MacBook Pro M1. If this is achievable, does anyone know what cable I'd require? Thanks

Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter and a Thunderbolt 2 cable. The iMac itself should support Target Display Mode as it's within the age period.

I tried,,does not work for me,,,did it work for you?

I have a new MacBook Air M1. After buying the expensive adapters and cables... I tired and it did not work for me either. In my browsing I saw some hints about that it does not work with the M1 ... or maybe it's a problem with the Air M1.
