Which cables?

I just bought an LG 20" LCD monitor to use as an external display. It's this one:

The cord that came with it is a D-Sub cable.

I know that I need some type of adapter cord to use it with my Macbook...which one??

It depends. Does your MacBook have the Mini DisplayPort or the MiniDVI Port?
